FOMA RECORDS SUCCESS IN THE ONGOING 5 DAYS MEDICAL OUTREACH IN AKWA IBOM STATE

The Foundation For The Marooned, Inc.(FOMA) recorded a huge success of over 820 patients being treated in three days, and conducted 26 successful surgeries while 30 patients are being booked for surgeries in the ongoing 5 days free medical outreach.

 FOMA, established in Nigeria since 2007 and became a US 501c3 Public Charity in 2016, are dedicated to feeding/clothing the poor, disaster relief, training & scholarship programs, medical assistance & outreaches, advocating & speaking for rape victims and women in domestic violence etc.
According to the International Coordinator of Projects, Mrs Emaeyak Egharevba , the health outreach exercise which started on Monday 11th June 2018, will end on the Friday 15th of June 2018 and is aimed at giving life time solutions to people’s health issues.

She said the Foundations aim is to feed, cloth, and provide shelter for needy children and women, while also offering medical interventions & outreaches to individuals and poor communities in Africa.

This medical outreach is in partnership with Office of The Leader, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Sir) Udo Kierian Akpan, Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) AKS branch and Foundation for The Marooned Inc. - USA.
She advised people who are yet to be treated, to Show up and get treated for FREE!!!
